Hello to all Extreme Global customers,

As uncertainty prevails around the world regarding the Covid-19 virus and people movement restrictions, it is timely to advise that our services in the trade and shipping industries are largely unaffected. This is because both Trade & Shipping are classed as essential services.  Therefore we are conducting our business on a “business as usual” basis. Our depots (including the major hubs in both US and UK) will be remaining open during normal working hours. Our offices will be fully manned albeit from a remote position. All staff at Extreme Global will be available by either e-mail or phone.

All our Overseas and NZ operations remain open and trading as usual with the customs borders for cargo worldwide remaining open and generally unencumbered. 

Trade around the world will continue whilst this virus outbreak is dealt with. Border closures announced in both NZ and Australia relate only to passengers, not cargo.

Whilst there is a dramatic effect on airfreight due to aircraft grounding and lack of cargo space, the shipping side remains relatively unscathed barring a few minor changes to scheduling.
